CHICAGO FIRE FC with a staggering 3-1 win over FC Dallas

Chicago Fire FC (1-1-1, 4 points) defeated FC Dallas (1-1-1, 4 points) at their Home Opener at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Frisco is feeling a bit under the weather with cold, rainy temperatures. Starting the game, Chicago Fire FC and FC Dallas showed a low but promising start. Neither team was able to start the first half with a goal.

Chicago Fire FC goalkeeper Brady with two incredible saves by minute 20′. Showing a promising push for the FC Dallas. With no promisng attempts from the Chicago Fire FC we go into HALFTIME with a 0 – 0 mark on the scorebored.

The second half was on its way, and both teams started pushing forward. Eventually, one of the teams had to make the first move to unbalance the scoreboard. FC Dallas, at the 57′ minute mark, scored its first Goal of the match. From an assist by Anderson Julio, Logan Farrington scored with his right foot. Making the match’s first goal, changing the scoreboard to 1 – 0.

Chicago Fire FC wasted no time and kept pushing harder. With two assists from Hugo Cuypers and Sergio Oregel. Andrew Gutman scored the equalizer in the 82-minute. Making the scoreboard 1-1 against FC Dallas. Showing this incredible goal, Chicago Fire FC was starting to warm up, just 2 minutes after the first goal was scored, Leonardo Barroso scored with his right foot. Getting a goal one over FC Dallas, having the 2-1 on the scoreboard.

Getting finished with the 90 minutes of the match, there were 6 minutes added as overtime to the match.

Right as overtime has started, Hugo Cuypers wins a penalty kick after being fouled by Sebastien Ibeagha (FC Dallas). 90’+1′, Hugo Cuypers scored the penalty kick, sending the ball to the bottom right corner. Making the scoreboard 3-1.

Right as the match was going to be over. FC Dallas won a penalty kick after VAR verified the ball in the penalty area by Tom Barlow (Chicago Fire). 90’+5′ Peter Musa’s (FC Dallas) took the penalty kick that was amazingly saved by Chris Brady with a kick save, keeping the score untouched. Sealing the deal for Chicago Fire FC to go home with a win over FC Dallas home opener.
